Member Testimonials

"Being a new business in San Antonio, and being a woman business owner, I found the National Association of Women Business Owners San Antonio chapter to be a huge asset. The woman business owners and professionals I have met through NAWBO-SA are all fabulous women. On top of that they are supportive of each other and very willing to reach out and help. An added benefit are the programs that NAWBO-SA has in place to support us as women business owners!"

Patsy Foxworth

ActionCOACH San Antonio

"Dee and I are NAWBO members because this is THE organization for women entrepreneurs. We have an opportunity to build relationships and learn from peers.
What we get out of NAWBO? Business! There is an element of trust in referring business to another NAWBO member. NAWBO-SA members are the best, and we do not hesitate to promote each others businesses."

Diane W. Simpson

Owner, My Home At Last

"As one of the original members and in my role as a Past President, I have developed some lifetime friendships through my NAWBO membership, and have done business with several of the members. It has been a valuable experience for me and my business. I served as President a few years ago, and consider it a privilege and distinguished honor to have been elected to lead such a prestigious group."

Linda Elliott

Owner, Elliott Connection, LLC

"I'm a member of NAWBO because I realize that in order for me to support business owners in San Antonio they need a team of people supporting their business. As their Banker I can build a strong financial support system but they will need other industries as they grow. From CPA's, Lawyers, Bookkeepers, Consultants, Graphic Designers and by knowing the quality of people we have in NAWBO I'm able to give referrals to my clients which in turn builds stronger businesses in San Antonio. It's a win-win for everyone. "

SherMerree Conn

Business Development Officer, BBVA Compass Bank

"Even if I didnt get a dime of new business through my association with NAWBO-SA, I would still be a member. The educational programs at the monthly meetings are outstanding. Interacting with other women business owners who are facing the same challenges is invaluable to me. Of course, we have received business through NAWBO-SA members, but the best part of NAWBO-SA is the relationships we build as we work together."

Ricci Fitzpatrick

CFO, Fintan Technologies, LLC

"Joining NAWBO is one of the best decisions I ever enjoyed! My company has benefited from the exposure which I expected. The surprise was that I would benefit so much personally from getting to know such accomplished and purposeful women in business, a true honor. This is where I hang my hat."

Virginia Lopez Rodriguez

President, Altair Technology, Inc.

"Being involved in NAWBO-SA has assisted me in growing personally and professionally through the programs offered and the interaction with other women business owners. Both have stretched me and made positive changes to the approach I take to my business and personal life."

Lisa McComb

Legal XtraNet Inc.

"I am a member of several networking groups and professional associations and NAWBO is, by far, the most beneficial. In NAWBO, not only do I have many opportunities to market my business, but also a source for trusted vendors and amazing mentors. The friendships and professional development I have received from NAWBO are the reason realign continued to grown this year in spite of the challenging economy. Thanks NAWBO!"
